Delegate Report,

Our first delegate meeting of the year was held on Sunday, February 25, 2007.  It was brought to our attention that the Barry Rankin class on competition prints and judging has a very poor response.  There are only 2 signed up for the class.  If you are interested in the class, please let FPP know as soon as possible, or the class will be canceled due to lack of interest.

On March 1, 2007, Tony Hopman and Bruce Evenson held a class with the proceeds going to The Jerry Perkins Fund,  It was mentioned to the delegates that our 2 day seminar with Larry Peters to be held on March 15TH and 16TH with some of the proceeds going to The Jerry Perkins Fund as well.

One of the delegates made the suggestion that the section president’s PPA dues should be paid by the section.  Having the section president be a PPA member is a requirement to keep section affiliation.  The reason for this is that there are members of some guilds who would like to sit as president cannot due so because they cannot afford the cost of the PPA dues. The question of paying for the presidents PPA dues will be brought up to each sections board and will be reported on at the next delegate meeting.
